About Us

Welcome to the Fayette Regional Humane Society, a sanctuary of compassion and a steadfast guardian of animal welfare in Fayette County. For over four decades, we've been taking in abused and neglected cats from Fayette and the three surrounding counties: Clinton, Highland, and Ross.

Established in 1979, the Fayette Regional Humane Society has stood as a beacon of hope for animals in need. Unlike a government agency, we're an independent organization driven by our unwavering commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals. We're not reliant on operational support from national organizations; instead, we rely on the generosity of caring donors and the dedication of selfless volunteers who share our vision.

Our mission goes beyond just offering a safe haven – we're advocates for change, striving to improve the lives of every animal we encounter. Whether they've been mistreated, abandoned, or simply need a helping hand, we're here to provide them with the care and attention they deserve.

Join us in our journey towards a more compassionate world. Together, we'll be the champions of animal rights, the defenders of their well-being, and the voices of those who have no voice.

Thank you for being a part of the Fayette Regional Humane Society family. Your kindness, love, and generosity make all the difference for the animals we love.
