The mission of the Fayette Regional Humane Society Kitten College is to reduce euthanasia rates and increase the quality of life for the tiniest, most fragile felines. Because every kitten deserves a fighting chance—regardless of location or budget.

Kitten College has five levels: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Purrfessors. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will be able to handle younger kittens and those that need more care or medication.

We have lots of resources for you on the Kitten College website.  Click here to get started. This page also contains a living library that adds resources regularly and can answer many of your questions.

We also have a Facebook page where you can interact with other fosters, ask questions, get advice, and post updates. Many of the fosters have years of experience and are willing to help with any questions.  Click here.

For more information about becoming a kitten foster, please call the Fayette Regional Humane Society at 740.335.8126 or stop by Tuesday - Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm.
