Olin

Olin: Dark, Debonair, and Definitely Deserving

He came. He purred. He conquered our hearts.🖤

Olin showed up looking like he’d just walked off the set of a street brawl, covered in deep bite wounds and scratches. Something had really done a number on him. It took multiple rounds of anesthesia and careful wound care to help him begin to heal.

At first, he was slated for return to the outdoors as part of our TNR (trap-neuter-return) program. That’s why he has an ear tip. We thought he wasn’t meant to be a house cat.

But even in those early days, when he looked more like a battle-worn alley cat and had every reason to be angry at the world, Olin leaned in for head rubs. He didn’t hiss. He didn’t hide. He purred.

And just like that, our plan changed.

We realized this guy was a total softie, a survivor with the gentlest heart. We knew he deserved more. While his ear tip might say “tough guy,” everything else about him says “cuddle me.”

Today, Olin is mellow, affectionate, and fully on the mend. Yes, he’s still sporting a few battle scars, which will fade with time, but they’ll always be part of his story — a reminder of how far he’s come.

What won’t fade? His love of chin skritches, his chill vibe, and his absolute refusal to leave your lap.

Because of you, Olin didn’t go back to the streets. Your compassion and support gave him the time, care, and comfort he needed to rest, recover, and reveal the tender soul behind that rough-and-tumble exterior.

Now he’s waiting for someone to see in him what we did — a perfect companion, wrapped in a sleek ebony coat and full of quiet love.

If you’re looking for a low-drama lap cat, Olin’s your guy.  He’s ready to write the next chapter of his story with you.

Thank you for making second chances like Olin’s possible. You didn’t just change his fate. You gave him the life he never knew he could have.
