Olin: Dark, Debonair, and Definitely DeservingĀ
He came. He purred. He conquered our hearts.š¤
Olin showed up looking like heād just walked off the set of a street brawl, covered in deep bite wounds and scratches. Something had really done a number on him. It took multiple rounds of anesthesia and careful wound care to help him begin to heal.
At first, he was slated for return to the outdoors as part of our TNR (trap-neuter-return) program. Thatās why he has an ear tip. We thought he wasnāt meant to be a house cat.Ā
But even in those early days, when he looked more like a battle-worn alley cat and had every reason to be angry at the world, Olin leaned in for head rubs. He didnāt hiss. He didnāt hide. He purred.Ā
And just like that, our plan changed.
We realized this guy was a total softie, a survivor with the gentlest heart. We knew he deserved more. While his ear tip might say ātough guy,ā everything else about him says ācuddle me.ā
Today, Olin is mellow, affectionate, and fully on the mend. Yes, heās still sporting a few battle scars, which will fade with time, but theyāll always be part of his story ā a reminder of how far heās come.Ā Ā
What wonāt fade? His love of chin skritches, his chill vibe, and his absolute refusal to leave your lap.
Because of you, Olin didnāt go back to the streets. Your compassion and support gave him the time, care, and comfort he needed to rest, recover, and reveal the tender soul behind that rough-and-tumble exterior.
Now heās waiting for someone to see in him what we did ā a perfect companion, wrapped in a sleek ebony coat and full of quiet love.
If youāre looking for a low-drama lap cat, Olinās your guy.Ā Heās ready to write the next chapter of his story with you.
Thank you for making second chances like Olinās possible. You didnāt just change his fate. You gave him the life he never knew he could have.
